Block file downloads and message copying on Enterprise Grid
On an Enterprise Grid organization, Org Owners can enable a mobile security feature to safeguard sensitive business data in Slack. Learn how to block downloading and copying content from Slack on any devices that aren't managed by an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provider.
Note: For devices managed by EMM, you can enable this setting via KV pair in AppConfig.
Block file downloads and copying on unmanaged devices
From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click Organization settings.
From the left sidebar, click Security, then choose Security Settings.
Under File Downloads and Copying, check the box next to Block on unmanaged mobile devices.
Click Save Changes.
