Slack is experiencing some connectivity issues — please stand by. Check
Slack Connect makes it possible to work alongside people from other companies in the same Slack channel. If you’ve been invited to join another organization's channel, learn how to accept an invite.
Note: Owners and admins can restrict who can accept invitations. If you’re unable to accept one, find an owner or admin and ask for help.
View and accept an invitation
If multiple people from your organization have received an invitation for the same channel, only one person needs to accept it. If your workspace isn't using a paid Slack plan, you may see the option to upgrade your workspace or start a free trial.
From your desktop, click Slack Connect at the top of your sidebar. If you don't see this option, click More to find it.
Review the invitation details to see who invited you and any other organizations that may also be working in the channel. When you’re ready, click Accept.
Review the channel settings, then click Confirm and Join Channel.
From your email inbox, open the invitation.
Review the invitation details, then tap Continue.
Choose the workspace you’d like the channel to be a part of, or tap Sign in to another workspace at the bottom of the page.
Review the channel details. Tap Edit Settings to make changes.
Tap Accept Invitation.
Note: Your admins may need to approve Slack Connect channel invitations you accept.
