Add a message to a pull request

What you'll learn in 2 minutes or less: How to add a Slack message to a pull request.

Instead of copying and pasting information into a pull request, connect your code repository tools to your Slack workspace to add Slack messages seamlessly. You’ll save time by not having to jump between apps to find context for code changes.

Go for it!

  1. Connect your code repository by installing an app like Bitbucket Cloud or Github to Slack.
  2. Hover over a message you want added to a pull request and click the  three dots icon.
  3. Select Add to pull request from the menu.
  4. Specify the repository and pull request you want the message added to and click Confirm.
